I am making a cook book of all of my families favorite recipes, I have plenty of my own recipes to put in it, but there are also a few recipes that I have gotten from either food network or various cook books down the line. Would it be illegal to use the recipes that I use from food network or other cook books in my cook book. I would of course cite where I got the recipe but, I am still unsure if that would be legal.

This recipe was shown on a show where Food Network sent it’s people all over the country to meet with people with unique or popular recipes. This recipe was being made in a fire house by one of the shift firemen. I remember it had pasta, fresh tomatoes, olive juice, but not sure what else or the measurements. If anyone has this recipe or knows the firemen that has this recipe I would greatly appreciate a copy of it.

Recipe: www.healthyveganrecipes.net This vegetarian beef bourguignon recipe (also vegan) is not the same sauce you’ll find in Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Luckily, bourguignon does not necessarily have to be as complicated as all that, and really just refers to a sauce based on the wine made in the Burgandy region of France.
